7am

Very big day in the Barlow household. Georgie went through from 7pm to 7am for the first time (well OK she was fed at 11 and woke up at 6 but she didn't do her "good morning" wail until 7)

Sods law dictated that for some reason this was one of my worst nights sleep in 12 weeks but even that seems irrelevant.

No doubt it will be another 12 weeks until she does it again but at least she has proven it's possible.

(Big thanks to Flo for the "Baby Secrets" book)

Me and my Brunch Jacket

Hand knitted by Granny Joyce.

Fire on East Claremont Street

A bit of drama interupted nappy-off time on Tuesday as the local "health club" across the road went up in flames.

(Best diet coke break to make it to East Claremont street)

Thankfully the flames were put out before they stretched to Sal's well tended garden!

Holding On

Georgie shows off her new skill of grabbing things. We are wondering if she is going to be left handed as she is yet to hold anything in her right hand.

The rattle was hand made by Maynard (of "Joy and" fame).

A Walk with Granny Joyce

A go on the swing...

..then David Bellamy's Back Garden Safari...

...look Granny's found a teletubby in the flower bed!

...across the road to...

...see the cows.

A week in the life of Georgie Barlow

Preferably at least two activities a day, entertainment in the morning, lunchtime kip, entertainment in the afternoon. Baby groups, birthday parties, lunches, coffee and even swimming lessons.

This was Wednesday AM entertainment - meeting up with Laura Ground who was visiting her Granny in Edinburgh. (Photo c/o Antionette Galbraith)
